We are PROUDLY showcasing our new line of hand-painted Thai Silk jackets. Yes, it’s challenging to add another dimension of shimmer to Thai Silk, but we did it!
In our accessory line we feature the Lotus fiber blanket scarf, paired with handcrafted Hill Tribe Silver to create a sophisticated, yet exotic look.
Other accessories included a small selection of fur hats, golden South Sea pearls, and crocodile handbags.
For our 2018 LookBook we chose River Farm in Alexandria, Virginia.
This farm, formerly owned by President George Washington, is located on 25 acres with a spectacular view of the Potomac River. The country estate is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and a naturalistic wildflower meadow. Anytime of the year this is a lovely place to visit. River Farm is now the headquarters of the American Horticultural Society.
We were fortunate to have Tom Wolff as our photographer.

Tom has exhibited his photography at numerous galleries in the Washington DC and Baltimore areas. His work is currently included in a traveling exhibition by the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum of Natural History. Tom captured the essence of our collections selecting just the perfect scenery and angle for each style. Tom continues to teach photography and also does freelance work. Our model lineup
Cali Tyler, a DC native, is a stunning 6 foot tall. Her natural beauty and calm presence were easily captured. Cali easily pulled off the majestic look in our hand-painted Thai silk long jacket. She also gave us fabulous photos wearing our Hill Tribe Silver Collection, cashmere, and our lotus silk wrap. Cali trained at Graham Webb International Academy of Hair, and subsequently worked at some of the most exclusive salons in DC. She is currently an entrepreneur, growing her business as a make up artist (MUA) and hair stylist. Her business provides in home salon services. You can find her at PrettyGlam.net. Cali remains on the modeling scene, in the DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) metropolitan area, and is also pursuing an acting career.
Katya Stuart, a native of Russia, first walked onto the scene at DC Swim Week in July 2017. At the time she was exploring the modeling scene in the DMV area. Although present as an attendee, her natural beauty caught the attention of many and in September of 2017 she modeled on New York Style Fashion Week runways. Since that time she has been “discovered” and is highly sought after for her effortless vogue style. You can book modeling events directly with Katya at st*********@gm***.com.
Kenyatta Ali (Ken) is a dynamic art model from Washington DC. She is beautiful, energetic and is not afraid to accept a photography challenge. The majority of Ken’s modeling has been in art schools in the DMV area. You may see Ken in provocative poses with glow paint or glitter, or you may find her posing as a mannequin at a silent auction. She is a very versatile model, with great talent and an enduring personality. Follow Ken on Instagram @kenyatta_ali.
Jillian Short, the former Mrs. DC and currently Mrs. Southern Maryland America, did an outstanding job of proving age is only a number. Jill grew up on the Pacific Island of Chuuk, is the mother of ten biological children, and the host of “Always a Voice Speaking Out,” a community group focused on stopping the silence associated with child sexual abuse. Jill is a community organizer, advocate with ‘Stop the Silence’, public speaker, singer, and model. Although she hasn’t published a book on how to maintain your youth into your 50s, I think she should. She is beautiful!
